Communications Analyst Intern

About Our Team
We are the Transformation Management Office (TMO) and Integrated Change Management Team (ICM), a corporate function and part of the Corporate Digital Transformation Office. At a high level, our mission revolves around change management: ensuring new processes are adopted by the affected people.

What do we really do?
• Drive global business transformations across different business units
• Enable different functions to achieve business results
• Follow change management methodology
o Work with the business to identify program stakeholders
o Create a communication plan to ensure effective communication to all program stakeholders
o Document current state versus future state to assess impacts to the business and create a training plan
o Establish organizational readiness
This position is for someone who wants to see the big picture from a corporate level by working across many countries and business units.

What You Will Do
As our intern, you will have the opportunity to support a cross-functional global organization while also sharing your knowledge of current communication tools to the team. Your tasks will include
• Building effective communications to reach multiple audience groups by using a variety of tools, including email newsletters, videos, PowerPoint presentations, and our team and project SharePoint websites
• Developing key messages tailored to specific stakeholder groups impacted by our business transformation projects
• Teaching the team new communication tools and how to most efficiently and effectively use our current communication tools
• Creating a library of photos/icons to use within team presentations and newsletters
• Developing creative PowerPoint presentations for business and project meetings
• Editing and updating the TMO and ICM SharePoint pages, as well as the SharePoint pages of our current business transformation projects
• Creating surveys using Microsoft Forms
• Scheduling team and/or project events and meetings
• Posting to our Change Management Community Yammer, which we utilize to engage internal employees interested in what we do
• Developing logos, newsletter banners, or other creative materials as needed
• Continually communicating with the TMO and ICM team members to assist their communication needs

Working with Project and Change Managers to:
• Develop and maintain project stakeholder analysis and distribution lists
• Analyze and present change measurement results and findings
• Support Change Agents in planning and executing change management activities
• Continue building the Center of Excellence activities, especially through the creation and editing of videos


Position Requirements:

Who You Are
You definitely:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited university
• Are majoring in Communications or a related discipline (English, journalism, etc.)
• Have 6 months of experience with video editing, preferably Powtoon

It would be a plus if you:
• Have experience with several communications tools (video, presentation, email, newsletters, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
• Appreciate attention to detail
• Can manage several tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Have a positive attitude and continually communicate with team members
• Are proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Are proficient in website development or editing SharePoint websites
• Have previous experience developing email newsletters utilizing Word newsletter templates
• Have previous experience developing surveys
