As a New Grad - Operations Specialist, you will assist in the enablement GTM and training of VMware’s Distributors and Global Partners.

**This position is intended for those graduating with a Bachelors degree in 2021
Job Role and Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to new and existing project requirements and business models, business process documentation and improvement in the process and functions of VMware’s business units and programs as it pertains to Partners
  • Work with GTM teams, business units and GEO teams to support the WW Operations teams
  • Thrive on execution, collaboration, and have a bias for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that technical developments in back office systems that impact the marketplace applications and integration layers are understood and resolved to prevent Marketplace service interruptions.
  • Work with distribution teams, sales teams and business operations teams as needed to ensure effective operation and communication of programs and products.
  • Receive and track issues and change requests generated by internal VMware teams.  Review and analyze with the impacted teams to determine disposition or resolution of the issue
  • Define and report Key Business Indicators for each and for VMware Distribution and Partner Operations Executive Staff
  • Research, document, optimize and improve key business and operations processes, including Managed Service Provider, Distributor, Reseller onboarding procedures plus communication and change management across functions.

Required Skills:
Ideal candidate will have a strong operational background, ideally in a channel focused environment.

  • Graduating with a Bachelors degree in 2021
  • Analytical skills with strong attention to detail, ability to research and solve complex issues
  • Proven ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Proficient in subscription selling environments and is familiar with infrastructure software/service and how it is sold fulfilled through the channel
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to multitask and navigate across different functional teams
  • Good analytical and organizational skills with high level of accountability and integrity
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including good communication with the ability to articulate ideas in a precise and concise manner
  • Enthusiastic, detail-oriented

Preferred Skills:

  • MS Office Suite
  • Collaboration tools like MS Teams and Atlassian Jira and Confluence
  • Strong quantitative and analytical competency
