Social Media Manager

DESCRIPTION

LUXURGERY is a private plastic surgery team, focused on aesthetics, is looking to hire a full-time Social Media Manager to join our 10+ person strong team. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for coordinating and executing the practice’s social media strategy and will be instrumental in optimizing our online presence and expanding brand visibility. The member of the team will be working closely with key members of staff and external consultants to increase our social media presence and gaining visibility for our brand among the community and potential patients.

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged with strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, including key social media platforms. Like our approach to medicine, we need someone who has a strong appetite for new technology and a never-ending curiosity for social media platforms and cultural trends. The Social Media Manager should have the ability to translate all of these ideas to formulate creative content into strategies that reaches our patients/consumers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Refine social media strategy and best practices with a heavy focus on content development
• Work with engagements/media team to assist in managing social media platforms (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) and ensure content is timely, relevant, and engaging
• Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis for the practice; ensuring the practice’s messaging in being executed online
• Monitor and post on blogs, forums, video platforms, and social networks; monitoring and replying to engagement on all platforms (under the supervision of the Management Team)
• Optimize online outreach and promotion
• Monitor analytics and prepare weekly updates and reports to track progress and success rates of campaigns; keeping up to date and informed on new social media trends and adapt accordingly
• Identify leaders and influencers (internal/external) and engage them in brand activities
• Assist with website monitoring, proofing, and updating as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to take initiative, employ good judgment, and manage projects
• Excellent communication skills; including writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Advanced computer knowledge (Including, but not limited to: Apple, Microsoft365, Adobe, etc.)
• Exceptional ability to manage details and strong organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and to anticipate needs
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Understands and can utilize emerging platforms, digital media, and web/social media management

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays. Compensation is $23.00 - $28.00/hour.
