This is an exciting opportunity to join the California State Parks - Sierra District's administrative team in a complex and challenging analytical position. 

 

The Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) works independently at the full journey level to complete the district's most complex analytical duties related to the district's revenue generating activities, incoming fund agreements, operating agreements, and concessionaires. The AGPA has comprehensive knowledge of the district's revenue-generating activities and make recommendations to managers to make improvements to the program. This position performs program development, process improvement/ evaluation, and analytical and administrative work to identify and improve methods for meeting the statewide concession and outdoor recreational needs. The reporting location for this position is the district office located at Sugar Pine Point State Park. The position may be assigned as a lead worker on a team with other staff of equivalent or lower classifications to work on specific major projects. The position performs the more responsible, varied and complex work, and continually provides consultative services to departmental management, governmental agencies and others on the needs, trends, and impacts of concession and operating agreement-related issues.
