We are looking for a creative and outgoing individual that has attention to detail and research to help create strategic online mentoring program structures and curriculum. Join our dynamic team, located in Irving, TX serving at-risk youth in 5th-12th grades including teen moms through a variety of programs. At All Things Made New (ATMN), our mission is to provide mentorship, life skills, and character development for at-risk youth to lead fulfilling and rewarding lives. The 2019 US Census Bureau estimates 13.5% of the population in Irving is living below the poverty line. This is significantly higher than the national average at 11.8%. Irving has a large number of families that are economically disadvantaged and has a higher than average poverty rate. The Texas Tribune reported that currently 65.5% of students enrolled in Irving ISD meet the qualification for being at risk of dropping out and 74.7% of students were economically disadvantaged. ATMN primarily serves children and families in these populations by working to promote youth development through mentorship. Our mission involves group programs for targeted age ranges, one-on one mentorships, meal programs, family case management, and resources for our participants that keep them safe while encouraging them to make healthy and educated decisions about their future
Member Duties : The Online Program Development & Engagement VISTA will develop partner relationships for the program, as well as promote and market the program. In response to the Coronavirus outbreak, ATMN adapted to meet the needs of its clients, employing new means of communication & technology. This shift in service delivery allowed ATMN to reach participants routinely & increase participation. Participants that were not able to physically be present at the facility are able to engage with online meetings & mentorship sessions. The VISTA will research and compile best practices and technology for online mentoring programs. Create yearly curriculum strategy for each mentor age group & create a recruitment strategy. Identify new partners to form and maintain new partner relationships. Research marketing strategies for outreach to participants and supporters. Create a marketing plan to attract key stakeholders to the program. Track and analyze marketing data to evaluate success.
