Job Role and Responsibilities:
The goals of the VMware on VMware Program are twofold. We deploy VMware products early on in their lifecycle into our various IT environments and provide feedback to R&D on the products. We also partner closely with the field organization to share our product deployment journeys, thought leadership topics and best practices with Customers. Job Role and Responsibilities:
- In partnership with the social media vendor and VMware on VMware communications managers, promote the program externally i.e. events and assets through various channels
- Assist in the development and support of social media strategies
- Develop innovative approaches to using social media marketing program and campaigns
- Manage social media efforts on a day to day basis
- Report on social media campaign effectiveness
Required Skills:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing
- Hands on experience with social media tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-starter, motivated individual who works well under pressure
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills including time management
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to navigate through ambiguity
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong analytical skills
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to work with cross functional teams
- Proficient in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint & Word, WordPress, Social Studio and Twitter
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment
This position is open to a candidate in the US – Home Office.
