Technology Spring/Summer Intern - Strong Communication Skills Needed - Work anywhere

As part of our Technology drive, we are looking to on-board talented and passionate people across multiple locations including parts of Europe and North America.
 
This is an internship opportunity where the candidate would work remote, so there is flexibility to work around your academic schedule and you can be based anywhere in the United States. We are looking to hire up to 6 interns for this role.
 
You could work as few as 20 hours/week, or as many as 40 hours/week from February 2021 through the summer (August), with a possibility of converting the role into a full time job upon graduation.

  • You possess excellent verbal and writing communication skills and you’re comfortable breaking down complex scenarios into targeted messaging for various audiences (e.g., executives and senior leaders, as well as core team members. 
  • You are curious. You like to learn new concepts and technologies and you adapt well to change. You employ critical thinking and problem-solving skills, achieved through an academic course of study, which specializes in information systems management, communications, marketing, professional and technical writing, or other technical specialties.
  • You are excited about figuring out how things work and finding more efficient ways to work. You have a passion for process improvement.
  • You possess a sense of intellectual curiosity and a burning desire to learn. You are curious – an early adopter who likes to learn new technologies and you adapt well to changing priorities.
  • You thrive in collaborative Agile teams and are ready to take on new and unexpected challenges while building new operating models, advancing organizational change, and exploring the psychology of change.

What You’ll Own:
  • Collaborating with and across the Tech teams to coordinate, draft, and track messaging for organizational and process changes.
  • Supporting the Transformation Delivery Leaders with stakeholder surveys and related analysis, program planning, as well as defining and implementing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
  • Applying your critical thinking and analytical skills to complete data analysis to help identify – and measure – process improvement recommendations (e.g., analyze historical data to identify trends that will help make the case for automation).
  • Exploring innovation and taking part in the implementation of new ideas, new ways of working, cutting-edge technologies, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, and self-organization.

 
The ideal candidates should:

  • Expect to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Communications, Marketing, Professional Writing, Computer Science or in a related field or equivalent work experience and practical knowledge in the near future
  • Academic experience with time studies, business analytics, process analysis and improvement. Familiarity with communication methods (e.g., corporate intranet, SMS, HTML, social media, etc.)

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rules:
Arcadis offers benefits for full time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage along with a 401K plan, STD and LTD, and Life Insurance as well as some additional optional benefits. Full time positions also come with annual PTO days and at certain levels a bonus program may apply.  The Salary range for this role is $16.10 – $23.70 for Colorado based positions only. Other locations will vary in salary range.
