Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Communications Placement Student to join our team specializing in Marketing for our Corporate Segment in Ramsgate. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Assist in the development and execution of the annual Marketing Communications strategy and plans
- Help with creation and external publication of customer stories, blog posts, news stories and press releases
- Assist with literature, presentation, and display material development
- Assist with video capture and development
- Develop, manage, plan, execute, and track content for social media platforms
- Participate in internal communications efforts
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Studying for a Business, Communications, or Marketing degree
- Knowing the process to create marketing collateral pieces. Provides input into the creation by participating in reviews
- Displaying proficiency using common digital publishing concepts and platforms (content management systems, websites, social media, digital signage, mobile apps, etc.)
- Proficient in writing and editing – press releases, social media content, blog posts
Degree Programs Considered:
Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA
Major Programs Typically Considered:
Business, Marketing, Management, Communications, Public Relations, and Economics (varies)
Cummins Internship program criteria :
- Must be a full-time enrolled student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
- Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
- Must be able to complete a minimum of 10 weeks or a maximum of 12 week commitment
- Must be able to complete 40 hours per week
- Willingness to learn from others on the job
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
