E-Commerce/Social Media INTERN
Long Established product development and marketing company seeking to expand operations and promote new product content and brand launches through social media (FB, IG, Pinterest, Twitter) and through our budding e-commerce presence on platforms such as Amazon and Ebay and through direct-to-consumer website commerce.
This position is an Internship, you will be working along side our art director, senior project manager, VP of marketing and contracted e-commerce expert companies, possibly with a PR firm.
Essential Duties:
- Support community management of corporate Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest and Vimeo and YouTube accounts by posting valuable content and interacting with fans and followers
- Research and report on the latest trends in social media and digital and content marketing
- Create unique content for social media outlets including but not limited to timely posts, engaging surveys, video, post copy matching brand voice, etc.
- Brainstorm monthly social media content for regular product launches and execute creative concepts
- Use social media analytics and listening platforms to build reports and demonstrate ROI on a weekly basis
- Maintain a monthly social media calendar and ensure team deadlines are met
- Complete other social media projects as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
- Creative thinking and high motivation to learn is a must
- An interest in marketing, communications, social media or reputation management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional knowledge of mainstream social networks including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube
- Experience with social media management tools is a +
- Familiarity with graphic design tools and video editing software (Adobe Creative Cloud & Canva) is a p+
- Candidates should demonstrate a strong work ethic, an ability to work in teams and with various departments and to exercise creativity while following directives
- Must be able to work 15-20 hours a week
- Location: Open within the US
Pay Rate:
Internship with possible Stipend dependent on skill set and long-term focus- we can discuss during interview
Flexible hours, exposure to different projects including Fortune 500 companies campaigns (including Universities and Tech companies)
