Visual Information Specialist - Blue Ridge Parkway (Asheville, NC)
The Blue Ridge Parkway is recruiting a temporary GS-7 Visual Information Specialist for the summer of 2021. This position is located in Asheville, NC on the Blue Ridge Parkway, in the Resource Management and Interpretation Division.

Job Responsibilities
The primary duties of this position include:
- Supporting and assisting in the maintenance of the park's website and social media accounts.
- Writing and developing content for the park website and collaborate with others who will be developing content.
- Working with the park's communications staff to share and monitor real time information and social media feeds.
- Working with a senior media specialist and interpretive staff, as well as resource management, law enforcement and other divisions to ensure information on the park website is accurate, thorough, and follows best practices.
- Developing audio, video, photography and graphic design products to communicate park priorities, important information, resource protection messages, and to best tell park stories to the public.
- Assisting in digital asset management of park's existing assets.
