Internship – Universal Creative: Branding & Communication (Summer 2021)
JOB SUMMARY: The mission of the Universal Creative Communications and Brand Management team is to raise the visibility of the global team through sharing relevant, branded content and news with Team Members, partners and fans. This intern will assist in all aspects of creating and distributing editorial content through multiple channels including written, video, graphics or presentations. Current channels of communication include, but are not limited to, emails, Creative News, digital signage, Creative Spotlight videos, LinkedIn, keynote presentations and award submissions. The Communications and Brand Management intern becomes a part of the team on every level with responsibilities increasing as their confidence and knowledge develops. Creative new ideas and processes are welcome as we come up with new ways to inform and engage our global team. From news gathering, managing the editorial calendar, to graphics support, to helping produce a 30-minute Spotlight on current projects, each day looks different as we react to the needs of our internal clients.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists with developing content for social media, internal communications, flyers, and more
- Updates tools for speaking engagements (policy guide and presentations) as needed
- Assists with planning virtual event planning
- Researches communications and branding best practices, trends, and news
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
