Title: TWM Certified Teachers
Specific Location: Holyoke/Springfield
Compensation: Average starting salaries - over $50,000 (with consideration for previous experience), and includes comprehensive benefits packages
Additional Information: If you are a new or experienced educator who will have a valid teaching license (from any state) by June 2021, you are eligible for our Certified Teacher program.

Summary
If you have a passion for science and a gift for inspiring young minds, we are looking for you. We are recruiting science teachers to join our partner schools in Springfield and Holyoke. Our partners need High School and Middle School science teachers who are certified in the state of Massachusetts or can transfer their license.
You will join a committed team of educators who provide academic and social-emotional support to young people coming from high-need backgrounds ensuring they are college and career ready.
Once you have apply to the Certified Teacher Program you are invited to apply to the TWM Black and LatinX Educator Fellowship, a regional cohort of Black and LatinX teachers. Beginning with the application process, fellows receive individualized support and resources that continue throughout training, their first year of teaching, and beyond, including:

  • Support and Resources

Qualifications to Become a TWM Certified Teacher
You Have
  • A current, valid teaching license (MA or elsewhere)
  • Eligibility to work in the US
We’re Seeking
  • Experienced Science Teachers with proven commitment to educational equity.
  • Educators with touch-points in the Holyoke or Springfield communities, professionally or personally, or similar communities working for transformational student outcomes.
  • Current licensure (or willingness to become licensed) in high-need areas, such as Math, Science, or Special Education. Priority given to highest need area: Science
