Social Media & Marketing Intern
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Social Media Marketing Intern will support marketing campaigns on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, generating awareness, interest, and consideration among targeted B2B and B2C segments for clients.
The ideal candidate is a creative individual with a strong understanding of trends and tools on social networks. This individual is responsible for a variety of projects including generating social media strategy, producing content, creative copywriting, competitor research, posting, and tracking results. Interns will also be expected to undertake blog post assignments and contribute to meetings and photoshoots.
This role supports a heavy focus on developing and scheduling content for our clients with a primary focus on social channels. The Social Media Marketing Intern will be responsible for KPI metrics in the social space for platform growth, engagement, and overall analysis and trend reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research social media trends and updates
Create engaging text, image, and video content
Organize assets and design posts to engage the audience
Facilitate conversations with an online audience
Support optimal posting schedule
Creative writing for blog posts
REQUIREMENTS:
BILINGUAL (Spanish & English) is a must.
General understanding of effective communication tools on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
A student with interest or in pursuit of a degree in Marketing, Business, PR, or a related field
Hands-on experience delivering creative content (text, image, and video) preferred
Experience using Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs
Strong creative writing ability
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
Must have access to a computer & mobile phone
Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
