Social Media & Marketing Intern
Job Description
Kallipolis-Haiti, a 501(c)(3) policy research organization, creates a thriving, equitable, sustainable, and inclusive Haiti through policy research, public deliberation, and advocacy. We are currently looking for a social media and marketing intern to join our team. The ideal intern will possess strong marketing skills, design skills and knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Primary responsibilities of the social media marketing intern will include the design and creation of social media marketing content.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop content for all current and new social media channels.
- Assist in strategy and content development for digital advertising campaigns.
- Ensure all communications are consistent and deliver consistent brand messaging.
- Consistently research ways to grow and improve Kallipolis-Haiti’s digital presence.
- Knowledge in Graphic Design through Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
- Knowledge of photo and video editing is a plus.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
- Currently a junior or senior enrolled in 4-year college program – preference will be given to candidates with coursework in marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design, and digital marketing.
- Excellent ability to multi-task and a high-project management aptitude.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive thinker and doer.
- In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
- A passion for continuous learning and executional excellence.
- Basic knowledge of all Adobe Creative Cloud apps.
