Social Media Apprentice

Job Title: B2B Social Media Apprentice 
Location: Remote (Must reside in GA)
Hours: 29 hours / week 
Duration: 6 months (June - December)

THE OPPORTUNITY:
At SalesLoft, the B2B Social Media Apprentice will be pivotal to our company’s success. You’ll report to the Director of Brand and be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing marketing team. You’ll work with marketing team members across Communications, Brand, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Marketing Leadership to help us ensure we are publishing high-quality social content that also helps us continue building a highly engaged social media audience.  

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking a results-oriented, motivated, and collaborative Social Media Apprentice to support the Social Media Manager with social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including: curation and distribution of social content across platforms, reporting of social KPIs, and community management.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for: 
  • Assisting with creating, coordinating, and managing the social media editorial calendar to determine appropriate timeline for posting, and optimizing content specific to each social media platform.
  • Assisting with daily distribution of social media content across platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. 
  • Partnering with the creative design team to concept and develop high-quality graphics and videos to support social content.
  • Recording and analyzing social media metrics and growth on both a monthly basis and for campaigns. 
  • Monitoring, listening, and engaging with SalesLoft mentions across all platforms.
  • Partnering with the SalesLoft’s customer support team to triage and resolve support tickets that are received through social platforms. 
  • Monitoring social channels for industry trends, news, and ideas.

THE SKILL SET:
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Able to work successfully in a dynamic environment in which meticulous attention to detail is expected
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent multi-tasker
  • Interest in learning about B2B social media marketing
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:
  • Attend SalesLoft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our SalesLoft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique 
  • Meet with others on the marketing team and begin developing an understanding of how we collaborate
  • Meet with key leaders across the business to understand their priorities and interdependencies with the creative team
  • Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-60-90 plan
  • Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
  • Develop firm grasp on our user personas, use cases, and brand standards

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
  • Understand how you will contribute to our the success of our Social Media strategies and execution

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:
  • Actively conducting social listening and making recommendations on when/how to respond
  • Assisting with publishing across our social media channels
  • Coordinating production of creative-related deliverables
