Post Graduate Intern

Part time ( 20-30 hours / week ) Position available to assist in residential and commercial projects. Proficiency in Autocad is a requirement. Potential for full time employment.

Daily Tasks:

-Utilize Autocad 2021 edition to produce drawings necessary for projects. The intern will learn the firms drawing standards and gain knowledge of technical skills to create design as well as construction drawings for various residential and commercial projects.

-Filed measuring for various projects. Go to locations outside of the office to document existing conditions for use on renovation projects. Tasks include using a laser measure and identify and document existing conditions needed to produce drawings for projects.

-Types of drawings that the intern will be working on

Floor plans - The Intern will learn how to prepare a floor plan using firms standard layering and methods

. Exterior elevations - The intern will learn how to prepare exterior elevations in Autocad from design information and office standards.
