Sunrise Landscape is growing and is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Landscape Designer to promote the brand by presenting creative design ideas to new and existing customers. Reporting to the General Manager, the Landscape Designer will efficiently create unique designs to suit customer preferences and focus on closing profitable sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will love the outdoors and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Seamless execution of all aspects of the design project. Efficiently create desirable landscape designs and accurately prepare cost estimates.
  • Effectively uncover customer needs and provide compelling solutions. Ensure professional presentation of products and services.
  • Sell profitable design/build proposals that meet or exceed sales goals while growing customer base with a focus on relationship building.
  • Support existing infrastructure with ad—hoc enhancement and installation designs as needed.
  • Communicate effectively and proactively with both internal team members and external contacts. Build and maintain professional relationships with home builders, developers, contractors, and property managers, etc.
  • Demonstrate and maintain a high knowledge of landscape features and area plant palette. 

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Landscape Design, or related field
  • GPA of at least 3.0
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Landscape Pro, Realtime Landscape, Pro Landscape Design or similar
  • Strong customer experience and relationship development skills.
  • Ability to present an effective design proposal, both verbally and in writing
