Marketing & Communication Internship @ COW-ORK Startup

We are looking for creative young minds excited in learning how to start a company from scratch and being part of the process, with particular focus on marketing and sales operations.

COW-ORK is a Miami based startup that transforms restaurants, hotels and other hospitality venues into an all-access network of working and meeting spaces, allowing freelancers, home-workers, flexible employees and students to work in shared spaces at an affordable price. 

The person we’re looking for will be able to gain experience through day-to-day interactions with Founders and Employees. This job position also offers the opportunity to work side-by-side with third party professionals specialized in the field of marketing, advertising, lead generation, and public relations.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Support marketing campaign planning and execution
  • Write copy for social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral
  • Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels
  • Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions
  • Assist in the management of website SEO
  • Develop and implement lead generation strategies
  • Measure and report the results of marketing and sales initiatives

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Applied understanding of basic marketing principles
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.)
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic photography, image and video editing, and graphic design skills

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • Successful completion of introductory courses in marketing, business, or equivalent
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office
