Business Development/Account Executive -The Balancing Act
BrandStar is in search of Business Development/Inside Sales Professionals capable of combining creativity with sales abilities to be Associate Producers on our The Balancing Act show.
The Balancing Act is a daily morning show airing on Lifetime that targets women who do it all. The show aspires to provide its audience with helpful tips and tricks to guide them through parenthood and work life. Balancing it all can be difficult, but our hosts use their personal experiences and show participants to make life easier for their viewers. The quest for a work/life balance.

This opportunity offers a base salary PLUS commission, quarterly and annual bonuses, full benefits including health, dental, life and 401k.
Business Development/Inside Sales base salary is $42,000.00 $43,000.00 per year plus commission. Commissions are uncapped!
Associate Producers (Business Development/Inside Sales Professionals) are responsible for:
- Develop story lines for show segments that compliment an Event Calendar or cover a specific area of interest. Identify national brands that may be a good fit for the show segment being developed through online research.
- Compile detailed information regarding the prospective business partner and provide call list to Programming Coordinators.
- Present business opportunity and story line to the decision makers at the prospective partner including the creative concept and funding requirements.
- Work with senior members of the Programming team to obtain a signed contract.
- Collaborate with content partners to complete the creative process ensuring story lines integrate the customer's product or service. Excellent communication skills are required.
Requirements to be a successful Associate Producer (Business Development/Inside Sales Representative):
- Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with C-level executives and marketing professionals.
- Must be able to use creativity and develop storylines for show segments.
- Possesses energetic phone presence and ability to connect with others via phone.
- Prior experience in TV or radio ad sales a plus.
- Prior business-to-business experience preferred targeting companies in the commercial real estate, construction, and related industries.
