The Opportunity
We are seeking new or recent graduates for a Platform & Technology Market Research Analyst role based in Culver City to assist in driving client success. In this role, you will bring your intellectual curiosity, entrepreneurial mindset, and storytelling ability to support research initiatives that help answer important strategic questions around content and marketing from the biggest movie studios, TV networks, streaming platforms and technology clients.

The Role
- Collaborate on tech and/or gaming market research including but not limited to: concept evaluation, brand studies, content optimization tests (trailers & ads), messaging/positioning evaluation, creative material tests, market sizing and segmentation, and trackers. Many studies are a combination of quantitative and qualitative.
- Support all steps of a project, including but not limited to: research design, questionnaire and discussion guide development, data analysis, report writing and presentation.
- Translate research data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations through visual, creative and story-driven reports, ensuring the consistent delivery of high quality deliverables.
- Stay abreast of technology and gaming trends and innovative developments.

Ideal Candidate
- Recent graduate with experience working in consumer insights, consumer research, or in an analyst/strategy role at a media or technology company.
- BA/BS with a strong academic record, and with a degree in a business or social science field or one with an emphasis on statistics or quantitative research methodologies.
- Some experience with the following data analysis techniques: statistical significance testing, correlations analysis, multivariate analysis techniques (such as cluster/segmentation analysis) and conjoint and discrete choice analysis. Ability to apply techniques a plus, but not required.
- Strong interest and experience in media or technology.
- Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, and written and verbal communication skills. Ideally, experience with other platforms such as Google Docs, Slides, Keynote, etc.
- Passionate about data-driven approach and can think strategically to draw out big picture correlations, predictions, and recommendations (preferred).
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work harmoniously and effectively within a team and across teams.

Position Type
This is a full-time, exempt position working in Culver City. The start date will be in summer of 2021.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment (subject to local directives/changes regarding COVID-19). This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
