Content Writer

Wholesome Goods, Inc. is a fast-growing e-commerce company with exciting brands in home goods, cosmetics, and pet care. We are seeking a talented, polished Content Writer to join our in house team. The Content Writer will be responsible for blog writing, as well as enriching our website content and amazon listing content with beautifully orchestrated written work. The Content Writer will research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies) to understand trends in our growing industry. This position is responsible for writing clear marketing copy to promote and showcase Wholesome Goods products. 

Job Duties:
1.     Develop, execute, and proof all copy for new and existing proprietary products, including their packaging, inserts, their listings and their advertisements.
2.     Proofread and edit blog posts before publication.
3.     Coordinate with marketing and design teams to create and develop creative content for blogs and our website.
4.     Promote content on social media.
5.     Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
6.     Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone).
7.     Update website content as needed.
8.     Evaluating keywords for efficacy in context of the project, doing additional keyword research as needed
9.     Working independently to prioritize project requests 

Qualifications and Skills:
1.     Familiarity with Wholesome Goods’ brand image, products, and services
2.     At least 2-3 years’ experience with copywriting/content writing for websites
3.     At least 2 years’ experience writing for products and packaging
4.     A brag-worthy portfolio
5.     Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management
6.     Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously
7.     Excellent time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
8.     Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs.
