Event Sales Manager

We are looking for an Event Sales Manager to cultivate leads and generate new business for our event.

This entry-level sales position is perfect for a proactive individual who advocates for growth of businesses small and large through our events and is prepared to advance their skills and goals alongside the company as new opportunities and offices open up.

Responsibilities:
*

- Become an Industry expert; an interest in economic, humanitarian and environmental issues is preferable, depending on assigned event
- Capture 50+ leads per day via Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc;
- Cold call & reach out to new/old prospects each day;
- Generate referrals and upgrades through existing clients;
- Research competing expos and dominate their sales territory;
- Post consistently on social media about your assigned industry to generate leads;

Requirements:

  • Love to sell;
  • Strong verbal and written English communication;
  • Enjoys the sales process; prospecting and cold-calling autonomously, developing and managing own pipeline, and closing deals to create a successful event
  • Engaged in training sessions and continues to develop professional skills
  • Excited for business growth with our event and our clients; always seeking opportunities to reach new markets individually and as a team
  • Treats own desk like their own business;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Be confident, transparent and creative

Experience should include at least:

*
- At least 1 year of experience cold-calling & closing sales (but is not necessarily required).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36,000.00 per year
