JOB SUMMARY
 
The Human Resource Intern will have the ability to interact with management in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, resourceful, and efficient; a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.
 
This internship opportunity will have a supervisor guiding and mentoring student throughout the experience.  By the end of the internship, student will have gained valuable practical experience, learned how to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings, and experienced real-life challenges and situations.
 
The student will be asked to intern for a minimum of 20 – 25 hours a week. Hours are flexible throughout the week.
 

JOB DUTIES:

·        Assist in various stages of the recruitment such as confirming interviews
·        Assist in the employee onboarding and orientation process 
·        Assist in various HR Programs such as employee recognition, wellness programs, service awards and company events
·        Prepare monthly and quarterly Compliance HR-related reports
·        Maintenance and completion follow-up of e-learning courses in LMS
·        Other duties as assigned

 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 
·        Proficient with computer applications and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
·        Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as attention to detail
·        Possess a high sense of responsibility and customer service skills
·        Ability to communicate effectively
·        Capability of working independently
·        Ability to manage multiple short-term projects simultaneously
·        Must be dependable, organized, follow instructions and able to monitor work for quality
 
Applicants should be Junior/Senior level students in an undergraduate program with an emphasis in Human Resources or a related field.
 
Student member of SHRM a plus.
 
 
COMPENSATION:
·        $15/Hr
