HNM is currently seeking to fill job positions for Architectural Project Managers and Intern Architects. Candidates should have experience in a wide range of project types; with an emphasis on Commercial, Industrial, and Educational Building Types.

The candidate should also have strong technical and innovative/effective design skills, the ability to prepare construction documents, manage projects and provide quality assurance.

Bachelor’s of Architecture is mandatory.

Advanced AutoCAD skills are required.

License not required but preferred.

Minimum of 4 years of experience preferred.

The candidate must be passionate about the trade.

The ideal candidate is technically proficient, design sensitive, and has excellent organization/communication skills. The candidate should possess the ability to ensure the translation of design intent into construction documentation. The person hired for this position will manage multiple projects during all phases of a project until completion and direct employees/consultants at all levels to ensure proper procedures are taken, ensuring work is completed as planned, budgeted, scheduled, and in conformance with the design intent.

The following is representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required:

Ensure that the production of construction documents is in concert with the design of the project.

Manage the work of other firm employees.

Prepare schematic, design development, and contract document work.

Communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, sub-consultants, and other disciplines to ensure project details are carried out properly, including technical issues and project information.

Review documents for adherence to building, zoning, and ADA codes.
