CAD Technician

As a CAD Technician, you're the design expert, utilizing your expertise to help us create safe, reliable and cost effective designs for our customers and clients.
We're looking for candidates with a good attitude, great communication skills, and a desire to be a part of a strong team. Of course, we'd like you to have a few years of experience (classroom or otherwise), with AutoCAD and/or other computer aided design software.
Some duties and responsibilities will include:
- Create and Interpret Diagrams, schematics, layouts, multi-view, and various drawings to scale in accordance with clients' requests.
- Perform Mathematical, geometrical, and minor engineering computations.
- Scale engineering drawings using computer aided drafting system
- File drawings, maintain catalogs of engineering data, and perform other routine drawing room functions as required
Project components might include civil/structural pieces, schematics, foundation, grounding, steel, layout, equipment, apparatus, wiring, panel, AC&DC, one lines, and other type drawings necessary to produce substation, relay, and line design job packages.
