Project Manager, Building Data Solutions
A Project Manager of Building Data Solutions applies the knowledge and skills of broader engineering disciplines and the use of technology to the design, construction, operation, maintenance, and renovation of buildings. They are architecturally and technically trained. They investigate new ways to leverage data and predictive analytics to improve outcomes for our clients. They rethink how we design and operate our built environments. They oversee all aspects of the design and construction process of a building project, from developing and reviewing building plans to making sure a project meets environmental and zoning standards.
Responsibilities included, but not limited to:
- Initiates collaboration by engaging structural and other engineers at the pre-design/concept design stage for the best project outcome.
- Looks beyond conventional solutions for innovation that could improve the project, while maintaining core engineering requirements and acknowledging areas of possible compromise.
- Understands the desired architectural concepts and qualities before suggesting solutions.
- Matches an engineer’s expertise and experience with the complexity of the project.
- Consults with clients, visits construction sites
Minimum Requirements
- Accredited professional degree in Architecture or Engineering
- 5 years experience in AEC field
- Experience preparing technical drawings, design representations, design renderings and working drawings; AutoCAD, Revit and graphic illustration software programs.
- Familiarity with graphic illustration software programs such as 3D Studio Max, and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and In-Design.
