Campus Partnerships Specialist

Our Mission

Gift of Life Marrow Registry cures blood cancer through cellular therapy. We believe every person battling blood cancer deserves a second chance at life — and we are determined to make it happen. We are singularly passionate about engaging the public to help us get everyone involved in curing blood cancer, whether as a donor, a volunteer, or a financial supporter. It all begins with one remarkable person, one life-changing swab, and one huge win — finding a match and a cure.

Education

Bachelor’s degree and knowledge of collegiate organizations. One to three years of collegiate fraternal job experience is preferred. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying new partners to expand registry growth on college campuses.
  • Working collaboratively with the donor recruitment team to create mutually beneficial partnerships to implement at the collegiate level.
  • Clearly communicating and achieving organization initiatives.
  • Articulating Gift of Life’s vision, mission, and values.
  • Adhering to and enforcing all applicable organization policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Delivering consistent messaging via email, in-person meetings, and reports to alumni advisors and campus professionals regarding colonies.
  • Protecting confidential and sensitive information; acting with a high level of integrity is required.
  • Traveling may be required as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned. 
 

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective project management skills.
  • Knowledge of specific trends and issues affecting fraternity and sorority communities, including hazing prevention and adjudication, legal concerns, programming, and national councils.
  • Work collaboratively and efficaciously as a team member.
  • Be self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fast learner, able to learn new programs and skills quickly.
  • Excellent computer skills: Word, Excel (advanced level), PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
 

Physical Demands

This position is basically sedentary with some walking, standing, stooping, and lifting required. May lift objects weighing from 0 to 20 lbs. with occasional lifting of objects over 20 lbs. Travel may also be required.
