Product Development Specialist
As a Product Development Specialist, GS-0301-9, you will use project and program management techniques and Agile principles to drive the design, implementation, and ongoing management of key products and features, based on business needs identified by the Office of Communications.
What you'll do:
- In a developmental capacity, engages with the product team and provides support to encourage the team to design and deliver the best digital services possible.
- Work with the cross-functional team to create product initiatives from high-level business goals and to identify the linkage from them to specific backlog work items.
- In a developmental capacity, manages limited-scope tasks that support the entire product development lifecycle.
- Assist the team with tracking customer care, dashboard metrics, and customer satisfaction to measure performance and functionality of products, services, and features as needed.
Experience we're looking for:
1) assisting in the development of multimedia products for web and digital media; 2) participating in the creation and adoption of standards for developing digital services; and 3) using different forms of communication to convey information with the immediate team, contractors, or other stakeholders on the delivery of digital services.

Substitution of Education for Experience: You may substitute education for specialized experience at the GS-09 level by possessing a Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related to the position being filled.
- OR -
Combination of Experience and Education: Only graduate education in excess of the amount required for the GS-07 grade level may be used to qualify applicants for positions at the grade GS-09. Therefore, only education in excess of 1 full year of graduate level education may be used to combine education and experience.
