Internal Communications Coordinator

As an Internal Communications Coordinator at Very, you’ll coordinate internal communications directly, helping foster a knowledge-driven culture, and ensuring our distributed teams are connected, engaged, and informed.

In this role, you’ll craft thoughtful communication channels, build an infrastructure that scales with our company as we grow. You’ll be supporting fast-paced change management and employee engagement.

Reporting to the Senior Director of People, this role will also have high visibility and collaboration with the marketing team. 

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitating production of our “Monthly Very Pulse” video, coordinating with executives to make sure each department’s strategic content update is recorded in a timely manner, and coordinating with our marketing team to get the video produced. This is 1 of 2 of our monthly recurring video series.
- Coordinating production of our “Ten Burning Questions” videos that are aired at our monthly all-hands meetings. These are 2 of our monthly recurring video series.
- Support the creation and execution of company-wide virtual events (i.e. Firesides, Town Halls) so that they align with our brand and are consistent with our company culture
- Manage our internal knowledge space (Guru) including all company card structure, all HR & Admin cards, and the Verification process
- Support the creation of onboarding materials to help new employees have all the resources needed for success from day 1 
- Company engagement: Announcements for promotions, birthdays, and anniversaries 
- Producing a “Random Question of the Day” 
- Creating polls for company events

Requirements

- 2+ years experience in internal communications, with a deep understanding of knowledge management processes and principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to sell ideas well through creative and innovative digital content
- Exceptional project management skills, both with internal and external partners
- Superior organizational skills; capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines and work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
