Administrative Assistant

Administrative Assistant position with Engineerica Systems

Engineerica Systems, Inc. is looking for a new Administrative Assistant! The perfect person for this position needs to be friendly, hard-working, and dependable. We are looking for an organized and adaptable person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This candidate will assist management and all clients by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone and e-mail, and generally being a helpful and positive representative of Engineerica Systems. To be a successful Administrative Assistant, candidates should be professional, polite, and attentive. Many challenges and obstacles will arise so always being prepared and responsive is a must for this position. You must be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, answering calls, and working with customers. Most importantly, the Administrative Assistant should have a genuine desire to help others.

DUTIES
  • Answer and route phone calls to correct departments.
  • Perform various clerical duties including but not limited to filing, copying, scanning, typing, mailings, and shipping tasks.
  • Assist with billing and accounts receivable tasks using QuickBooks.
  • Support in account management by entering contact and purchase information in our CRM database.
  • Perform research on the internet for projects and other duties.
  • Assist with inventory and stocking of supplies, helping keep the office clean and organized, as well as running errands for the office.
  • Facilitate the upkeep of subscription renewals and new purchases.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or be currently enrolled as a degree-seeking student) in Human Recourses, Business Administration, Communication or equivalent field is preferred.
  • Have a minimum 3.2 GPA (transcripts as an attachment welcome).
  • Outgoing and friendly personality.
  • Energetic and able to switch quickly from task to task.
  • Highly proficient with MS Office and web applications.
  • Strong typing and computer skills.
  • Must reside within the Orlando, FL area.
  • Must be available to work in the Oviedo office Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm.

COMPENSATION:
This is a full-time, entry-level job. Pay is competitive and dependent on experience level.
