Civil Engineering Internships

Seasonal/Summer internship opportunities are available in our Aviation, Civil-Facilities, and Transportation Design Divisions.
 
Interns may be based in any MJ office locations, including: Binghamton, NY, Concord, NH, Freeport, ME, Greenville, SC, Hollywood, FL, Pittsford, NY, Portsmouth, NH, Saratoga Springs, NY or Westford, MA.
 
 Responsibilities:
 
-     Under close supervision and instruction, will gain experience applying knowledge of civil engineering principles performing routine aspects of engineering tasks involved in developing project plans, grading and drainage design, runway or roadway pavement design, utilities, stormwater management, quantities, specs and contract documents for airport improvement projects at general aviation and commercial service airports, or variety of transportation and/or construction projects throughout the Northeast.
 
 Requirements:
 
-     At minimum, must currently be pursuing Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree with experience using Auto CAD Civil 3D and Microsoft office preferred.
 
 
MJ internships are paid, full-time temporary Summer assignments, typically from end of May to end of August, with potential to become permanent position upon successful completion of degree.
