Planning & Landscape Designer
Job Summary: Work encompasses all aspects of planning and landscape design.
Essential Duties: Design concept plans or schematic plans and prepare master concept plans and maps by using AutoCAD and ArcGIS. Perform planning research and prepare applications. Read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical reports and land development regulations. Communicate effectively with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies, and work as part of a team with other team members.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or planning or similar field or equivalent experience and training. Experience in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Ability to produce hand graphics and sketches is a plus. ArcGIS, Land FX and/or SketchUp experience is a plus. Excellent driving record and valid Florida driver’s license required.
