Junior Interior Designer

Arquitectonica is an award-winning, design-focused architecture and interior design firm with a worldwide practice of 500+ employees located in nine offices. Our Miami Headquarters is seeking a Junior Interior Designer with 0-5 years’ experience to join our team. 

As a Junior Interior Designer at Arquitectonica Interiors, you will work on a variety of projects and be involved in the design, documentation and construction of our projects. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplined team and have the opportunity to join our company for a career that promises to be both challenging and rewarding.
 
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Participate in all design phases, including concept design, schematic design and design documentation processes 
  • Develop, prepare and coordinate client presentations and documentation materials design intent 
  • Aid in Construction Administration for ongoing construction projects with project manager
  • Drafting and Construction coordination with project manager
  • Participate in all forms of conceptualization of design projects
  • Selecting and coordinating material specifications
  • Working with local dealerships/manufacturers on furniture and fixture specifications
  • Work collaboratively alongside your team to meet project deadlines and milestones
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent in Interior Design or Interior Architecture or relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s of Architecture
  • 0-5 years’ continuous professional working experience
  • Excellent design skills
  • Technical proficiency in Revit and 2D AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
  • Experience in construction documentation is a plus
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solving skills, attention to detail, motivation to learn
  • Collaborative and professional work ethic

Compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience and abilities.
