Engineering Supervisor

Responsibilities


  • Maintain all mechanical items in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Receive direction for house calls via phone.
  • Performs and oversees plant operations during 2nd shift
  • Clean all work areas after completing job.
  • Assigns work orders and works with team to complete tasks
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
  • Maintain all mechanicals property wide.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of the Engineering dept.
  • Maintain property pools as directed by CPO.
  • Special projects as assigned by Director.
  • Acts as point person for engineering department during 2nd Shift and Weekends
Tools and Equipment:
  • Telephone, pen/pencil, photo-copying machine, hand and stationary tools as related to trade.
  • Computer knowledge to include BMS & Lighting System Operations
 Working Environment:
  • Interior of hotel, in all areas of the hotel. Exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures.
  • Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
  • Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be attentive to detail.
  • Must have the ability to adapt to unexpected situations.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fulltime, part time, and on call positions available.
