Internship – Universal Creative: Construction Management (Spring 2022)

Spring Semester: Internship dates are approximately from January 2022-April 2022.

JOB SUMMARY: This internship will provide the opportunity to assist in overseeing the coordination of a project virtually into construction, tracking vendor schedules, and construction sequencing.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Review models and record clashes for coordination.
  • Drafting meeting minutes for team meetings, as well as distributing and collecting information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
  • Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
  • Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred.
  • An official transcript may be required upon request.
  • Preferred majors include: Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management

EXPERIENCE: Prior internship experience related to position is preferred.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Preferable skills for success in role includes but is not limited to:
Required include:
  • Strategic understanding in BIM Construction Cloud, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to read technical drawings and understand revisions
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines
  • Consistent attendance
Preferred include:
  • 3DM and any additional 3D graphic software knowledge
  • VDC Certification
  • Drafting skills

  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2022.
