Coordinator Internal Communications

First Tee headquarters has an open opportunity for a Communications Coordinator focusing on coordinated and strategic communications to inform, inspire and support a network of 150 First Tee chapters. This position will be based in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and will report to the Director of Communications overseeing internal communications.Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Communications or related field
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask 
  • Strong writing, verbal and presenting skills
  • Experience developing PowerPoint and/or other presentations, as well as writing content for stories and social media posts
  • Preferred experience working with the following technology tools: content management systems (WordPress), Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce), email management systems (Mailchimp), and webinar or virtual meeting tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams)

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Coordinate a weekly eNewsletter that goes to all chapters including content schedule, writing, editing, coordinating review/proofing, formatting and distribution
  • Drafts communications materials for chapter promotional and fundraising toolkits including but not limited to press release templates, social media graphics and talking points
  • Writes and updates content for internal website, publications and eblasts
  • Manages user access of chapter intranet
  • Manages webinar logistics for network training and education including scheduling, speaker rehearsals, presentation preparation, among other responsibilities
  • Analyzes chapter engagement through weekly reporting of internal communications channels and data report presentations
  • Facilitate internal meetings to ensure alignment across HQ departments
  • Responds to chapter requests, questions and internal requests.
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned.
