Design Assistant

KTGY + Simeone Deary Design Group, an award-winning interior design firm located in Chicago, IL seeks a student for a full-time Design Assistant position. 

 

A successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with the ability to successfully contribute to multiple projects with varying responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.  Responsibilities include general office administrative duties, scheduling, and meeting with product vendors, updating and organizing the materials library, and assisting on the day-to-day coordination efforts required to the production of construction documents, FF&E specifications, and other various project tasks.

 

Applicants must have or be seeking a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a CIDA interior design program. Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills are required.  AutoCAD knowledge is required, Photoshop, and InDesign experience is preferred. Knowledge of Sketchup, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook is also desired.
