Marketing Internship (Paid)

Cortica is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our growing, multi-disciplinary team!
This internship will focus on: providing support to Cortica’s marketing team, as well as internal and external clients, through social media and review site moderation, daily administrative functions, research, and reporting. You will report to the Senior Marketing Manager.

What will you do?
  • Community management of social media and review platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google My Business, and Yelp; Monitor and respond to comments and reviews with approved responses, including follow up with internal Cortica stakeholders on resolutions and outcomes; Research and analyze the latest social media trends; Search for interesting and inspiring content.
  • Help organize and maintain Cortica’s internal Salesforce accounts. Assist with data management and cleanliness within Salesforce and other marketing data sources. Share reports from Salesforce with internal Cortica team members and external agency partners.
  • Aid in the management of Cortica’s internal employee store: inventory management, stock replenishment, employee account creation and dollar credit assignment.
  • Help with writing, editing, and distributing communications to prospective and active patient households
  • Perform market analysis and research on competition.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of process improvement projects, ensuring the continued delivery of quality marketing and communication experiences to patient households.
  • Administrative functions; Monitor shared Outlook mailboxes and update internal Cortica stakeholders as needed; Participate in team and company meetings.

What's required?
  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Public Relations, or related fields
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Team members must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Desired skills
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Salesforce, Adobe InDesign and Illustrator are a plus
  • Knowledge of AP Style is a plus
