Art Specialists needed!!


Lead our students to a bright future in the arts! We are looking for enthusiastic Art Specialists across disciplines from fashion design to journalism and creative writing, to guide our students in after-school activities! Our students are brimming with creativity and Harlem Children’s Zone provides the tools that will lead them to success! 

During the day our students are engaged in learning the basics! After school is the time to develop any special interests!  They can learn to produce their own music or learn how to write a play! If you specialize in:  

  • Television Production 
  • Theater
  • Screen Writing    
  • Music & Lyricists 
  • Spoken word and poetry 
  • Stop Motion Graphics  
  • Broadcast sound engineering  
  • Debate 
  • Videography for television  
  • Audio/Sound engineering  
  • Arts & Crafts 
  • fashion and cosmetology
 
As an Arts Specialist you will facilitate weekly lesson plans and activities not only around creative projects such as television production but also in lifetime decision making, identifying values, communication and critical thinking, resume building and interview techniques, social etiquette, conflict resolution, and community service, among others.

Pay? Base rate is $20- $30 an hour 
Education Requirements: 
You must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent in addition to experience with sports programming! Pay is based on education and experience!
