Account Supervisor - PR & Integrated Marketing Communications
TruePoint’s Account Supervisor on our Marcom team is responsible for account, people, and client management. The ideal candidate has deep experience implementing marketing communications programs for both consumer and business-to-business brands. We’re seeking a team leader who genuinely cares about propelling others forward, has a deep understanding of integrated marketing communications, is well-written, understands clients’ business needs, and knows how to build and implement strategic programs that generate meaningful results.

Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strategic thinking
- Conceptualize and create programs that meet clients’ business and marketing goals
- Consistently deliver programs and materials in a timely manner
- Serve as the daily client contact and client lead, addressing client issues thoughtfully, efficiently and effectively
- Be an excellent and skilled writer
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to coach others in writing
- Effectively develop media materials that follow AP style and are aligned with client strategy
- Consistently generate publicity
- Possess a proven track record of generating quality publicity results that are timely, on message and reach the clients’ intended audiences
- Cultivate media relationships and build long-lasting programs on behalf of clients
- Plan and execute media events
- Effectively manage team members
- Coach and help develop junior staff
- Be capable of working both independently and in various team settings
Requirements

- Experience managing client accounts
- Interact professionally with high-level client executives, possess excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to effectively manage client meetings

- Experience managing programs with a keen attention to detail
- Strong writer who can also effectively edit and provide clear direction to junior staff
- Proven media relations strategy development and execution skills
- Excellent verbal communications skills with clients and colleagues
- Ability to proactively “manage up” to senior management
- Possess an understanding of digital/social media
- Media event planning experience a plus
Operational Leadership
- Effectively maintain a monthly expense report and reconciliation
- Review and maintain monthly client timesheets
- Understand and facilitate purchase order process; initiate and track vendor billing accurately
- Track/enter time with precision on a day-to-day basis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 6 years in a communications role, agency experienced required
