AutoCAD Designer
PopStroke is seeking a highly motivated, collaborative individual to serve as AutoCAD Designer Associate to provide digital drafting and design support during the planning, design, and construction of future venues.
Description of AutoCAD Design Associate Position:
- Work in PopStroke office with other team members in an exciting, rapid-growth environment
- Work in AutoCAD (and other software packages listed below) for most assignments
- Assist with design of mini-golf courses and create full digital construction drawings (layout, grading, drainage, etc.) for contractors to build the courses
- Assist with developing initial site plans for placing the components of PopStroke venues on undeveloped sites
- Coordinate with other professional disciplines (engineering, architecture, landscaper, regulatory agencies, etc.) during design and construction process
- Assist with management of construction budgets and schedules to ensure on schedule and on budget delivery from contractors
- Possibly travel to construction sites to further coordinate construction details with other project consultants and work on design implementation during construction
Qualifications for Candidates:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and able to work with a team
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Strong organizational skills, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate a flexible approach to work assignments
- BS or MS degree in Landscape Architecture
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong AutoCAD drafting knowledge and experience including Civil 3D grading and cut / fill volume calculations
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and graphic software programs including Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
- Portfolio or work samples will be required if considered for an interview
The AutoCAD Designer position will be based in Jupiter, FL.
