Media Coordinator (OSC00003B)

PAE-REACT is recruiting for the OSCE! The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine is seeking a Media Coordinator (OSC00003B), a senior professional with a first-level university degree in journalism, international relations, communications, public relations, media studies or professional certification in journalism, public relations, or media technology, and 6+ years of progressively responsible professional experience. The position requires: field experience and ability to work independently; experience structuring and writing articles, organizing press conferences and media events, working with journalists, providing media briefs and handling enquiries; background in delivering strategic communication, including media experience on behalf of an organization or in a press environment; ability to plan, organize, co-ordinate and monitor work of staff; willingness to join patrols and produce visual materials; ability to provide concise media analysis; ability to cope with physical hardship and willingness to work extra hours and in an environment with limited infrastructure; ability to work as a member of a team, with people of different cultures, religions, genders, professional experiences, and political views; Strong writing skills for a variety of audiences, print and social media; proven resilience to high stress environment; knowledge and experience of media affairs; knowledge of the historical and current political situation of the mission area; familiarity with the use of internet, intranet, digital photography and video. Desirable: experience working in public affairs, professional communications, media, or an international organization; competence in print, electronic and social media and video media production; working knowledge of Ukrainian and/or Russian language(s).
