Project Architect

Project Architect – Washington, DC
 
Our DC Area office is looking for a highly motivated Project Manager / Project Architect with excellent design and communication skills who is able to work well with people at all levels of the firm. The ideal candidate will be someone who takes the initiative to research, design and implement complex projects. 
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Background/Education
  • Professional (NAAB Accredited) Degree in Architecture / Licensed Architect
  • Over 12 years of experience working in an architectural design firm
  • Ability to handle job stress, deadlines and interact effectively with others in the workplace is an essential function of the job
 
Knowledge and Skillset Required
  • Proficient with Revit for design and production
  • Graphic communication skills to support a variety of presentation media: presentation drawings, marketing materials, feasibility studies, etc. Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign skills
  • Skilled in analytical thinking, modeling and rendering to support the design process
  • Self-motivated individual able to work well in a collaborative office environment
  • Good computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)
