Graphic Designer

Music for All is seeking a Marketing Coordinator with a Graphic Design emphasis to be part of a team of Marketing associates. The Marketing Coordinator-Graphic Design works under the direction of the Marketing Manager and is an important part of the Music for All Team.
Required skills and characteristics

  • Four-year Degree, preferably in Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
  • Three years of positions in marketing and/or communications fields.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite applications including Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, as well as Canva.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office apps. Familiarity with email marketing software and web content management platforms preferred. Familiarity with various social media platforms including Hootsuite, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, preferred.
  • Proficiency in strong graphic design concepts and best practices for print, web, and email marketing.
  • Self-starter who can work independently as part of a national team.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Strong creative outlook.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience in the primary duties of the role, which include but are not limited to:
  • Design and creation of graphics and digital assets for web, email, and social media marketing.
  • Design, creation, and implementation of marketing campaigns including print materials, email marketing campaigns, social media posts.
  • Graphic design and print coordination of the organization’s event and administrative forms and materials, including but not limited to event signage, exhibit booth materials, credentials, letterhead, business cards, envelopes, PDF or print format applications and order forms where applicable.
  • Graphic design and print coordination of the marketing materials including but not limited to postcards, posters, brochures, flyers, and advertisements.
  • Website content maintenance and management, design of website page layout and assets.
  • Proofread materials for accuracy, proof and approve printer proofs.
  • Coordinate photography of events, including working with the official photography company to ensure proper coverage for marketing and promotion needs.
  • Review and approve brand standards in print and digital documents across departments
  • Maintain marketing databases and prepare reports
  • Coordinate and assist in other marketing efforts and administrative tasks as needed

Every candidate for a position at Music for All must understand and acknowledge that a substantial portion of the organization’s business is the planning and execution of special events. As such, all Music for All employees are involved in the planning of events and have some on-site event production duties and responsibilities with some travel required.
