Financial Analyst, Remote (United States)

We’re looking for a Financial Analyst with sales analysis and sales operations experience who loves to geek over data. This role will report to our Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. It will assist sales executive leadership and sales department managers with decision making by analyzing, modelling, and interpreting sales data. You are a fast learner with a background in sales data analysis. You are focused, intelligent, dependable, and possess a can-do attitude. In this role you will…
- Analyze and interpret sales data to provide valuable feedback and actionable insights that will help answer key business questions and drive decision making.
- Work closely with the sales and sales operations teams to ensure alignment from a reporting and analysis standpoint.
- Provide all-round analytical support to the sales teams through easily digestible presentations, graphs and reports.
- Learn the existing data sets of operational sales and financial data within the company.
- Continually assess the relevance of sales metrics against business needs.
- Identify opportunities for reporting, analysis and dashboard visualizations
You’ve got what it takes if you have…
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years work experience in financial planning & analysis, sales operations, or sales analysis.
- Strong skillset in sales data analysis and reporting.
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel (pivot tables and v-lookups).
- Experience working with financial reporting, ERP or CRM systems.
- Strong research, analytical skills, pro-active problem-solving skills, and self-motivation to perform tasks above and beyond responsibility, in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Must be capable of working in a fast-paced and changing environment; be self-directed; and work well as a team player.
- Consideration for privacy and security obligations.

- Experience with Salesforce.com, NetSuite or Anaplan
- Experience in a start-up environment
- Experience with Nested IF statements, Logic statements, etc.
- Working knowledge of PowerBI
