Global Insights & Strategy Internship Spring 2022

Social Media & Graphic Design Internship (Spring 2022)
Our internship program is designed to guide students from university into the business world of communications. Interns are assigned a supervisor/mentor who will help them learn the day-to-day tasks involved in working with multiple agency clients.  

Responsibilities:

·      Join our Global Strategy Practice working on Bacardi spirits brands and Llearn about client’s objectives, strategy, tactics, objectives, target audience and key messaging
 
·       Use specialized databases to build media listsActively look for and share news on competitors, trends in the spirits industry and social conversation around our target consumers’ passion points
 
·      Conduct media relations from print to digital using proven pitching techniques
Aid with researching consumer insights and trends to help inform client strategies and culture-worthy activations
 
·      Assist team in creating press clippings for clientidentifying pop culture events and creatives
 
·      Help build knowledge of new digital developments in Web3 and the metaverse
 
·      Support our team in writing and designing client presentations   

·      Participate in brainstorming sessions, and client calls and internal meetings


Skills & Requirements:

·      Must be rising Juniors or Seniors passionate about a career in public relations, influencer marketing or other communications
 
·      Must be able to commit to 15-20 hours with a minimum of two full days Monday through Friday.
 
·      Familiar with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Google Docs/Slides/Sheets, pop culture events, trends and creators, and Media/Fashion Trendsdevelopments in Web3, including NFTs, and the metaverse,.
 
·      Should be creative, have good writing and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and be able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.



Schedule:
Our Spring interns will begin January 18th and work until around April 29th based on individual school schedules.

More About Nike Communications Internship Program:
This will be a virtual internship. To enhance the program, we also set additional programming that provide access and learning from members of our leadership team and staff. We want to make sure our interns get the most out of their experience.

This internship is paid and available for college credit.
