Social Media Intern

OneUnited Bank is recruiting interns for an exciting opportunity to work in social media at America's largest black-owned bank. Interns should be enthusiastic, service oriented and eager to learn and grow. Strong writing and verbal skills are imperative, the ability to multi-task effectively is a must, along with an appreciation and understanding of the digital marketplace.

The Social Media Intern will be responsible for maintaining daily activity such as posts / tweets to all applicable social media outlets. Other duties include developing and scheduling content for posting on all designated social media outlets – including creative, monitoring online competitor presences / perceptions, reporting trending topics and other relevant online data, maintaining posting schedules, and researching relevant industry news for the social media editorial calendar, and identifying influencers across all social channels. 

Qualifications:

•      Detail-oriented, Organized, Self-motivated and Focused on Success

•      Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills (including proofreading), Reporting, Multi-tasking

•      Familiar with Social Media platforms (Blog, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube, and Instagram), SproutSocial

•      Experience with Excel

•      Familiar with Photoshop

•      Video creation/editing experience a plus
