The Role: 
Land Pride, a division of Great Plains Mfg., is seeking a dynamic Media Designer for our Marketing department to design visually appealing graphics, assist with photography and social media, and manage digital assets as well as manage other marketing projects. This position is based in Salina, KS and reports to the Media Manager. 
This role works Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities-include the following. Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
·        Exhibit a mastery of Adobe design software and technologies (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) to create engaging marketing content that is visually appealing and on-brand, including flyers, brochures, illustrations, posters, print and digital advertising, social media content, tradeshow displays, direct mail pieces, and other brand assets
·        Assist with product photography and video shoots in studio and on location
·        Assist with maintaining and updating digital photo and video assets 
·        Assist in various marketing functions throughout the department as needed
·        Assist team with brainstorming new and creative social media strategies
·        Obtain detailed estimates from a variety of vendors as needed
·        Keep skills up-to-date with changing technology
 
Preferred Skills and Qualifications: 
·        Must submit portfolio at time of application
·        Solid knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe software
·        Excellent command of graphic design/layout and production skills
·        Strong typographical skills
·        Ability to multi-task and perform under tight deadlines
·        Strong verbal and written communication skills
·        Strong attention to detail and project management skills
·        Experience with photography a plus
·        Experience with social media platforms a plus
