Civil Engineer Intern

Typical duties and responsibilities under the supervision of engineering staff are:

• Perform general civil engineering related tasks to support project manager(s) as required

• Prepare engineering related calculations and drawings for site development, storm water, utility, drainage, and roadway designs

• Prepare permit related documents and submittals

• Drafting and editing of construction plans using AutoCAD

Qualifications:

• Basic AutoCAD abilities

• Proficiency in standard office software (spreadsheets, word processing, etc.)

• Desire to work in the Land Development Civil Engineering and/or Environmental field

• Excellent communication, verbal and writing skills

• Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills

• Ability to conduct research, solve problems and pay attention to technical details
