Mechanical Engineer II

Would you like to make a valuable contribution supporting design and construction projects for the State of Vermont? We have rare opportunity and are currently accepting applications from Mechanical Engineer candidates. Candidates should have experience associated with capital improvement and facility maintenance projects. In addition to project management, this position will oversee HVAC systems in all State-owned facilities in Vermont's northwest, southwest, and Waterbury districts. Oversight includes acting as a liaison between the Design & Construction and Operations & Maintenance divisions, maintaining BAS and DDC systems, performing technical reviews, and managing design guidelines, standard specifications, and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field AND two (2) years of experience in engineering, architecture construction management or construction supervision.
OR
Associates degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field AND four (4) years of experience in engineering, architecture construction management or construction supervision.
OR
Six (6) years or more of experience in engineering, architecture, construction management, or construction supervision on multi-disciplinary commercial or industrial projects.

Note: Registration as a Professional Engineer or Architect may be substituted for up to two years of the engineering experience.
